As part of the Fashion SVP Sourcing Academy’s commitment to knowledge-sharing and learning, we once again present our Sourcing Briefing seminar programme. This programme is full of industry experts, all happy to share their knowledge, experience and expertise with you, our visitors.
These seminars have been designed for all brand and retail professionals who want to know more about the current critical issues influencing decisions in sourcing, production, brand and product development, design, marketing and social media.

As part of our ongoing desire to help grow and develop all aspects of the fashion industry, Fashion SVP is keen to support up and coming talent from the academic and entrepreneurial worlds. So, new for 2018 we have created a specific section of the show dedicated to these future industry leaders!
If you are a burgeoning new brand, a fashion entrepreneur, a pop-up retailer, a new designer wanting to launch your own brand or even a final year undergrad or masters student, then The Fashion Station is a fantastic place to be able to network, ask questions, get practical insight and learn from the best in the industry.

Entrepreneurial Advice and Guidance from Alison Lewy, MBE (Fashion Angel)
Running within The Fashion Station Alison Lewy, MBE, director of the UK’s best known fashion mentoring and business support specialists, Fashion Angel, is running two 20 minute mentoring sessions per day. Covering issues such as; raising start up finance; how to launch your own brand; crowfunding; selling online; getting it made and much more.
Alison and can advise you on your business and fashion ambitions. The 2018 New Designer Awards in association with Fashion Enter / Fashion Capital
Launched in 2017 the New Designer Awards were launched in association with Fashion Enter, Fashion Capital and Finery and were developed to recognise commercial design excellence within the fashion industry. The award was designed with the aim of supporting the future development of apparel manufacturing, the professional skills we want to continue to grow and nurture, and to offer all applicants an opportunity to enhance their own profile and professional standing.
In June 2017 the well deserved first ever winner was announced as Dilara Karaca, who impressed the judges with her forward thinking design, commitment to the original brief and commercial awareness.
We are now pleased to invite any would-be entrants to the launch of the 2018 New Designer Awards!
